    22 Tacoma sr5, cruise control will not turn on or engage, skiing with engine light on now. Can anyone help with this issue. I’ve checked the ECU#2 and fuse is good.?.?

    If the engine light is on, you need to scan it for codes.
    It's a total guess without the codes.

    Predator tube steps, Ranch Hand grill guard, Magnaflow CatBack exhaust, Toyota tool box & bed mat, 2LO Module by @Up2NoGood, Rearview Compass/Temp Mirror, Tune by @JustDSM.
    Need to see what code(s) are in the PCM, many modern vehicles won't allow the cruise to work if the CEL is on.

    You should still be under factory warranty anyway unless your over on miles.

    I know that cruise control is automatically disabled when there is a fault with the front radar thing. Just guessing, but maybe this is the case here too?

    P2610 basically indicates that the ECM can't tell how long the engine has been off. Could be as simple as a bad battery/loose connection, or an internal ECM issue. Most codes that cause the MIL to set will disable cruise...

    Similar issue with 2015-2017 4Rs, etc., and there was a TSB for an ECM calibration update (TSB-0276-17).

    Yes truck is still under warranty, after I checked the code, I cleared the code and so far everything has been working properly but we will see
