    Hey all,

I've done a ton of searching and I'm trying to find out if anyone has PIDs for the 2.7l 5 speed for the trans temp using the torque app. I've searched everywhere and used different equations but they all seem to be for the auto and don't work. I tend to tow our popup camper all over and would like to be able to use my phone to monitor how the transmission is doing. Have pretty much everything besides that. Anyone know what works?

If your talking a manual then I'm not sure how much it would matter regardless. No pump or real way to cool down the gear oil without some extensive modification.

If thats the manual transmission I'm not sure it even has a temp sensor. I have found there is a lot of knowledgeable people on this site so somebody will know.

There is no temp sensor on a manual transmission and thus no trans temp PID.

There's very low risk of overheating a manual transmission as long as you keep it full of fluid and change the fluid when needed.

If your towing heavy don't tow in overdrive.

It's because there is no temp sensor for the manual trans.

Well thats good to know. Popup only weighs 1800 lbs so its not a heavy tow and it doesn't struggle at all to tow it. Just figure it would be nice to have the info if its available. Thanks all for the info.

Yeah that's not a lot of weight. I wouldn't worry about it one bit.
