Hi, Just got an alignment for my 2017 SR 4WD. My local tire store aligned the front right fine. It had -.15 degree toe.

The driver side rear had been cupping the outer edge of tire and they noted the wheel has .17 degree Toe. They said since it's a solid axle, there were no adjustments for it. ????!! I haven't been doing any severe off roading. I could have hit a bad pothole on the Interstate maybe.
What is there to do about this? Don't want to ruin another tire.

If the rear suspension has been touched, you'll want to make sure the center pin of the leaf springs is properly located and all the u-bolts are tight. The other side would have been out too though if that was the case.

A bent axle, or a bent axle housing tube could be the cause, but best to check out everything else first.

I would get a second opinion. Use a shop that regularly works on lifted vehicles too.

Compare the wheelbase between the left and right sides. We had a car come in the shop that the guys couldn't align. I told them to compare measurements and it was off a little more than an inch. Bent rear axle.
