    Taxes are lower here...at least where I'm at in Kent County.

    We have a few years until retirement and think we'd like to live in lower DE. It's been on our radar for about 4 or 5 years.

    Our daughter goes to school at Pitt, so we need to stay in PA for at least 3 more years to avoid out of state tuition costs.

    Good morning Chris/ @BassFisher887, Delaware + neighboring states.

    I like it here...compared to SoCal/L.A. -- I was just there in July for nephew's funeral.

    It's been since April 1986 since I left LA for USAF Basic Training in SA, TX.

    When I returned from Ramstein, Germany assignment...I was lucky to get Dover AFB in 2006--it was my 3rd choice on dreamsheet/EQUAL list.

    I'm glad we didn't get Scott AFB or Nellis AFB...which were my #1, #2 selections.

    Anyhow, we've been in the same house since moving out of TLF (Temporary Living Facility) with family.

    I love that we are near the beaches and have plenty of venues to visit here in the TriState Area.

    Our daughters finished college, are married, and have dogs instead of children. lol

    Take your time buying a home...the market stinks right now!

    We departed just after 7am and got home just before 7pm.

    The DC beltway was a mess with one lane open...they were fixing a pothole at rush hour...???

    The DC beltway has to be one of the worst sections of highway in our area. If it's not repairs and construction, then there is usually an accident.
