I am tired of the brake dive and sloppiness of the OEM shocks on my TRD-OR and feel I've gotten enough use out of them over 5 years and 85K miles to justify an upgrade. I had intended to go with 4600s since i have no intention of lifting and actually have a set in my garage. My mechanic, whom I trust, suggested I get a fully assembled coil over to make the install easier. So, that led me to the paired 6112-coil combo. I assume these come preassembled? The other question is whether this would be massive overkill for my intended uses (fire roads; camping; boat towing), which would not include a lift. Mostly just looking for a more composed ride thats not too harsh.

I went up to 600 lb coil springs. Truck no longer wallows in the turns. YMMV

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
You can buy 5100's that are already assembled. They made a big difference on my 22 SR5 as far as on road handling.

You usually have to assemble, or the vendor can assemble for an additional charge.
