Pulled my OEM rear bumper off my truck yesterday so I'm parting ways with my Diode Dynamics C1R + Brake HitchPod. My new bumper has a flip up license plate hitch so this serves me no purpose anymore.

I had it on the truck for about 8 months, it's all cleaned up, boxed up and ready to ship out (with free shipping too)! I did clip the purple wire which puts it into "solid brake mode" versus flashing when the purple wire is connected. You could easily use a solder stick connector to fuse it back together if you want the flashing function.

I actually had one other person reach out to me and ask the same thing. Short answer is: I'm not sure. Longer answer is more like if you have a 7pin connector on the back of your truck you should just be good to plug this t tap harness into the back of the 7pin. If you send me a picture of your trailer connector, I'd be able to tell you a bit better, but if you watch their install video you'll see it's more of a universal T tap harness, I'm just not sure the 2nd gen has the same trailer connection as the 3rd gen.
