Hello Everyone. I have a 18 Tacoma manual with 78k miles. I recently had the whole passenger side of the motor rebuilt due to a piece of slag from a weld getting sucked into the motor. (I installed a Rough Country CAI and it did more damage than good). But I have this chatter noise coming from the driver side at about 2300 RPM and it starts from 1st to 3rd. You can barely hear it from 4th on at about 60 mph. I tried fuel system cleaner, 92 octane and also did an oil change. And nothing is working. Could you please tell me your thoughts and opinions? Thank you

I don’t understand, had only the “whole passenger side of motor rebuilt.” Now driver side making noise. Normally, shops rebuild the entire engine, all one time.
You answered your own question if that the case.
