Oh man.... it's crazy how easy it is to forget about that these days. I remember seeing that on the news and we had plane tickets to Florida canceled. If memory serves, we were supposed to fly that day

 

Way more fun though

 

I was a hour and half south of where I live head to Mobile, Alabama for work. My wife wanted me to come home, but the company I worked for back then was pretty much, you are going where and when we say period.

 

That is a nice piece of gear at a great price and boy would it help out on the rot box I'm currently working on.

Although I would enjoy the 6000 mile road trip to get it I do have to make somewhat practical decisions now and then...

The county fair grading and ribbon scale is truly one of this generations greatest mysteries. Last years 3rd place with one entrant. This years 2nd place either way is egregious. The guy who won first place either has incriminating photos or married a judges cousin or something.

People parking out front ticks me off too. I live basically across the street from a school and the entitled parents who don't feel obligated to wait in the pickup line instead lineup in front of my house, often blocking where I park, despite there being 4 signs posted no parking on the street 8-4. It's gotten better but they used to park up in my yard waiting for their kids. I've talked to my chief its helped some. But I've considered watering my lawn with a hose at that time.

 

Gotcha man. It's Wild how times have changed.

 

Truck was gone when I got home. Still... I think I'll try to figure out a sidewalk denial system
