Cole has been helping me cut wood, run the skidsteer, mow the yard, weedeat, everything a 12 year old boy should be doing. He and a kid at church like to throw the football at youth. The other kid threw it to Cole and he wasn't expecting it and he put his hand up to block it and jammed his ring finger on his right hand. It was all swelled up and I've told him ain't nothing wrong with it so he's been toughing it out.

Wife took him to the doctor yesterday and they x-raid it. It's broke at the joint.

I feel bad cause I've been telling him it was fine. It got hit 3 weeks ago

My wife carried him to the doctor a couple days after it happened, they said it was just jammed and didn't like to do x-rays on kids cause of the radiation unless absolutely necessary. I bet that woman feels worse than I do. Now he's got to go see a specialist.

I wonder how many of us have had something like that happen to us, and just tough it out. I probably had a couple broken bones that went untreated.
