I’m pretty sure with 3 snatch blocks and a physics degree you can set up a forward pull on a rear mounted winch.

Well, maybe you don’t need a physics degree to do it, but you’ll need one to understand how it’s even possible! I swear every time I watch a video on that type of pull, I’m like a dog looking at a wristwatch…all interest, but no understanding. Might as well be magic!

With enough pulleys you could pull it out by hand.

Edit: "I'll have you out in a jiffy. Just let me grab my pulleys."

You only need 500 feet of line to move your truck 10 feet with that setup!

Not quite this elaborate, but I use gratuitous engineering tricks with snatch blocks and pulleys when we're short-handed hauling signals up to mast arms and what not.

    Basically almost everyday. Lol

Would anyone be interested in a car show Sunday? I'm on the fence. But, it might be cool to show up with a few nicely modified trucks. :notsure:

    Excellent!

At least most of the camping/wheeling trips are further north.

    Reminded me of our Union.
Our local is out of Neenah.
Every year they have an annual picnic. In Neenah. Pay those dues and can't have a picnic over here, what? lol
I don't know of anybody from here that's ever gone.
I suggested we all rent a bus, one time in the past, and go over and drink all the beer.

Our union had its picnic a few weeks ago.
I have never gone to it in 30 years. Maybe I'll go as a retiree in a couple of years.
I work with the guy in charge of the picnic. He tells me that he's seen people walk out with 12 packs of beer and soda pop. One person was caught loading up his kids' backpack with stuff. When asked why, he said, "Because I pay dues."

    That's ridiculous.
If they're willing to steal from a picnic, it makes me wonder what they're loading their lunchboxes up with at work?

    Here's the thing
People preach about union brothers and sisters and don't screw them over.
But it's OK to steal from them.
