Prepare to be somewhat underwhelmed. I do like mine but the suction is no where near what you get on a good gas mower. I bought it when it first came out so I'm on my second mowing season with it.

I got the CV nut off with the M12 1/2 stubby and a XC6.0 battery. It may have better performance with a HO battery?

Some of those may be my next purchases down the line

I sold my 3/8 M12 because I never used it. @geekhouse23 got a great deal. I think I want a Fuel impact ratchet for the smaller jobs that I do use a 3/8 for. But at the same time, its been so long that Im using hand tools for those small jobs. Im not a shop, so doing things faster isnt a priority for me. If it takes a couple minutes longer, im ok with it.

Edit, not impact. Just 1/4 driver

not pictured, but yes a milwaukee is what is sent. For $39 it was worth the risk for me. New Milwaukee from HD is $99.

Is that with the extra suction button on? The battery lasted half as long, and I did not think I needed it, so I used it off. I did it in mulch mode.

+1. i was one of the first to buy in my area. i had to point out where it was in home depot to their staff...

it's nice because it uses batteries i already have, and i can now go 3 seasons without having to maintain a gas can in the garage, which is extremely nice.

but it's really underwhelming as a mower. there's two blade speeds, and the lower speed will auto-sense high loads and speed up. but it's the difference between 5mph and 75mph. it's almost too slow on low, but it's a little obscene on high, and it also drains most batteries quite fast, which means i end up either mowing the yard in high, and planning on swapping batteries halfway through, or i mow it on low, but then slow my mowing speed to 'stubborn ancient man that ain't payin no lawn service' speed.

bagging the grass is another irritating issue-- it doesn't create enough lift to get the grass fully into the bag. not at all on low, but barely on high, so it tends to collect in the opening to the bag, which clogs the mower, which then makes it an overcomplicated mulcher with extra steps.

Inneresting. Just watched a Torque Test Channel vid about counterfeits, some were actually decent performers, I wonder if that could be the case here? i.e. a good knockoff with phony Milwaukee branding.

Still double the price, but the new m12 brushless impact driver is $82 at HD now after returning the batteries

This is what I received. No battery of course. Id say it works 92% of the time. Not bad for $39

Some of yall seen to have inside info about milwaukee. Has anyone heard anything about them making a m12 miter saw? With how popular the m12 5-3/1 circular saw is they could take that saw and make a single bevel miter saw, would only be useful for 2x4 and trim work but I would be very interested due to the small size/weight. I know the 7-1/4 M18 saw is popular but I would rather a m12 mini saw, the m18 10 inch saw and a corded 12 inch saw.

Popular? Maybe amongst hobbyist and east coast guys. Out west, everyone seems to use a rear handle 7 1/4.

Out of the 94 new tools rolling out, a m12 miter saw is not on the docket for the next few years.

Check out the next pipeline event…your guess is a good as anyone’s what they decide to come out with.
