Love the truck, but the beeping is killing me

The beeps were driving me crazy. I tried taping over it with thick tape, and even driving a screw into the speaker. This screw trick worked great on an in-wall safe I installed, who wants button presses to beep on a safe where you keep guns....?

Both reduced it a bit, but eventually I ripped the sucker out. The whole process took like 10 minutes. I was worried I'd miss the turn signal click, but I don't. Wow it's great having things quiet now.

Also found the Taco easter egg...

 

I was nervous about the turn signals and absolutely enjoy that the click is gone. Long stoplights are so much better as is the general silence.

 

I just tell the various voices in my head to speak up so I can't hear it...
