Eh. Id rather have less things to deal with that can't be replaced as easily. Less squeaks and creaks generally. And just general money saved. I've spent so much in vehicle modifications through the years that the ROI is negative and I'm tired of that.

Guess that's why I bought my wrx. Didn't mod it at all except adding the hitch.

Golf has a tune and hitch. Zero wants to continue.

meh you will eventually need to replace shocks, tires and other things one day anyways. they dont last for ever now im not saying lets build one hell of a truck like i did with my grey tacoma or like what you did with yours. im just talking about a little level and some wheels and tires. i dont like my stuff to look like the other million vehicles i want some bit of my own in it. could care less about the money tbh since i cant take it with me might as well have a good time as long as i dont hurt my self financially

If I could go back, I would save on most of the mods on my truck aside from the GFC and suspension. Granted those are the two most expensive things I've done to it, but in my opinion well worth it. Though I maybe would go cheaper on the shocks.

No regrets on the bikes though. at least not yet lol

I mean overall I wouldn't call it regret, I'm very happy with my truck, how it looks, what it's capable of, etc.

But there's definitely mods I've done that I ultimately didn't really need to do

thats fair tbh. if i could say one thing id do is go back to the grey tacoma and actually have a list of what im going to do instead of do this and that and change this and change that over and over again lol i put a lot of money into that truck!

I shared this in the New England thread, but for all you Moto heads.
This is my 1975 Ducati 860GT that’s finally back up and running after being in storage single 1984. Has been in my family since new.

That was the first thing I thought when they posted that video, I have click of it running in the driveway, but it won't let me post it here, unless I'm doing something wrong.

DUDE! Fantastic. Nova is a reputable shop. Good on ya for taking your Dad's bike to him. Seems they're the right folks for that. Hope you're enjoying the machine.

What part of VT are you from? I'm a NH boy myself, stuck in Indiana currently. Was in Chittenden for a wedding this summer. One of my best moto freinds is un Underhill.

Very jealous to think of you carving NE roads on that old creampuff. Right on.

Nova never does, which I do not understand.

    Well I stopped by a motorcycle dealer today and sat on a 2024 gasgas 700sm , 2024 husqvarna 701 and a 2024 drz400sm.
First impression on the gasgas was it felt too heavy. It’s bigger than I thought it would be. The husky was a little lower and had a nicer seat but felt the same as far as weight. Then I sat on the drz and it felt a lot like the Klx as far as weight. I actually liked it better as far as feel. Anyway I could get the gasgas for 13,400 OTD TOTAL . They would give me 5k for the FZ1 and then I would also get a tax break so it’s like getting $5500 for it. I would have to pay $7736 plus my FZ1 for it.

I will keep looking because I know I can get more for the FZ1 selling it (obviously) and I want something light that is easy to ride.
The guy with the GSXR has still not responded but I think that might not be the bike I really want. At least right now today. lol
I am still considering the zx4rr. I need to sit on one and feel it. The DRZ isn’t off the table but a good used one would be in order. That way I could have a supermoto and a sport type bike too.

Close enough to feel somewhat the same. Granted it wasn't right back to back for me. Hell, my Rally is 331 I think

It's 18lbs. That's pretty fuckin close. And can easily be remedied with an aftermarket exhaust and removal of unnecessary crap
