When I was active duty I drank alot coffee especially while I was in my Armory . If I had to be in my Armory for rifle range detail , I had to have the Armory open at 0330hrs . Between the hours 0330hrs and 0600hrs I was by myself handing out firearms . The only way to stay awake was to drink alot of coffee

for me during those hours i would drink 2-3 pots of coffee sometimes more until my other armorers showed up at 0700hrs

Just reading that made my eye lid twitch and my ears ring...well, the ears always seem to ring. Thank you Ted Nugent.

Most of my working life was spent on third shift, 11-7, and I loved it. I was used to it and rarely drank more than 2 cups. When I started this job, a day shift office position, I was drinking 5-6 cups to stay awake during the day. I've since managed to get my sleep under control and now limit myself to 2 large cups while at work. Oddly enough I don't drink coffee at home or normally on weekends.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Another therapy day coming up. Mowing and putzing is getting to be a slow adventure. Need to figure out what the mail order RX is trying to do to my (normally) auto-refill scripts.

    Morning all:

All the mention of Costco made me curious, I've never been there and the closest one to me is 25-26 mi. away, looks like I won't become a member anytime soon!

I 126, I 26, and I 20, plus a few other roads in the mix and the name fits. They are in the middle of a renovation to make the area not so bad... not supposed to be complete until '29. They've been working on it for the last 2 years. They are closing one of the exits in the next week and people complaining "I have to go past the "old" exit, to the new one and now 12 lights instead of 2". Glad I don't have to go through it very often.

    morning gang

Is it sick that I knew how many traffic lights there were between home and work and somedays I would track how many I made on the green. :D

Good morning. Lots of fun stuff to do today. Off to the Anne Arundel County fair at 8am to watch my cousin's oldest daughter's oldest son show his sheep. Later it is a sunset cruise on the Chesapeake Bay as one of the activities for the Annapolis Songwriters festival.:dancingbacon::broccoli:

Good day! As my Aussie friends say. Looks like another beautiful day although 12* hotter than normal, still under 90* though. NICE!
A little yard work. Help the granddaughter on a school project (interpreting welding blueprints). Maybe start planning a second 100 watt solar panel install on the Casita. Then when it’s too hot, back to the man cave.
Have a mellow day everyone! Get/stay healthy!
