Just got mine installed. Not very impressed.

Plates don't fit tight in the tabs. Which pretty much defeats the purpose right from the start IMO. Copper sleeve seems like a pretty half ass solution. Back bolts are a touch too short.

Having installed taco tabs on a buddy's truck, I'd go with those. Yes, there aren't as many alignment options, but let's face it, if you're installing these you should have adjustable uppers anyways. I'll see how these do, but will probably be removing them.

Not very impressed to received plastic sleeves when there where zinc plated steel sleeves shown on the website. This kits basically garbage until I can source proper steel sleeves.

*edit* just noticed others received copper sleeves, which is also a huge no-no due to galvanic corrosion.

I received plastic sleeves as well. The pics and videos I’ve seen all show metal. Is plastic meant for the Tacoma and metal is for other models? Or is plastic meant to stop the metal from bonding to LCA bushing? @Bison Offroad

Same here. I got the plastic sleeves! I imagine with plastic sleeve, the wear and tear.. You think someone would come up with a solution. Hopefully someone here st TW will. Off to home depot or Lowe's or a metal fab that find a solution. Shouldn't have to do this searching tho..

    Stock as all get out.
was looking at getting theses but now i am reconsidering going with the poly performance taco tabs. they should have machined a tighter tolerance for that gap.

for these and/or taco tabs do you need to have an aftermarket cam gusset welded on or could you use factory ones?

You can use factory ones. No need to buy the Marlin Kit or TC kit

Have the TacoTabs with no gussets. They do the job but the ears have def been bent out a bit. I'd at the very least run a reinforcement weld bead along the outside of the alignment ears.

I pulled mine, went back to the stock bolts.

Anyone know what they’d go for used?

I can't find any torque specs for these? Do you have any for a Tacoma or do we just tighten them down?

    Is this company still around?

I'll be posting mine for sale soon. They're off the truck but I need to clean them and take photos.

I just bought and installed them. I have the same concerns but overall the kit seems beefy. Mine came with yellow zinc plated steel tubes. Definitely holds the alignment better, now to figure out the tie rods.
