2017 TRD Offroad Suspension total rebuild parts list

Hey guys,

Looking for some advice. I have a 2017 TRD offroad with a stock suspension with 2”lift. Currently have a bent control arm causing me some issues. See photo. Upper control arm contacting my coil.

I want an upgraded suspension that is less likely to break. I don’t go fast off-road much, so long travel is not that important to me. Just looking to upgrade all parts likely to break (and look good doing it). I also tow a 3000 - 3500 lbs boat fairly regularly, and I have an ARE bed cover that adds some weight too. Towing is important to me.

Looking at front end kit from total chaos, and advice about what to do with the rear end? Im thinking I want to upgrade to a stronger leaf spring but I don’t know a whole lot. Prefer not to add any width to the wheelbase either, or change my TRD Pro 17 wheels 28570R17 wheels.

Spacer lifts can also cause the uca contact the coil at full droop. If something is bent it could be the spindle instead if the UCA too. Just something to take a close look at.

 

Thanks. It’s funny that it doesn’t contact on the passenger side. Just the driver side. My rubber spindle cover is definitely torn too. You can’t really tell unless the car is on a lift.
