I wouldn't want to live in something like that either. HOA's aren't a thing here at all unless you live in a retirement community where landscaping and snow removal are provided. I've never heard of one other than that.

Mine is the same way be it with neighbors or total strangers. Fortunately we have a good bunch around us except one, I had quite the argument with him when we bought our house about his car being stored here. He's very connected in the town and feels it means he is entitled. Someone should have told him I love taking that type down a few notches..heehee

I know at least one person fired at my job for it, though we deal with personal information and it was in the background by accident.

Always dug this vehicle since my grandpa had a 77 4 door

I can be naked at work.

Those are the worst ones sometimes, so says my dad who lives in that type of place.

It might be? Mortgage rates are all over the place. I know I'm not gonna get my low rate ever again, but it's high AF right now.

I was going to make an Aldi run and my truck barely started. It was dead enough to wipe out my current tank MPG.

Popped the hood and there was some corrosion on the positive terminal. Cleaned both, sprayed with inhibitor and threw the charger on it.

Hopefully that's all it is. :fingerscrossed:

You all have any tips on the quickest/easiest way to polish silver? It likes SIMICHROME, but I need a bigger polishing wheel. I’m thinking about trying a soaking method.

If we really wanted to feel extra specially crappy about the price of houses, we could always talk about what our parents paid for for the family home

I just looked up my first house on Zillow.

    Bought in 1999 for $89k
Sold in 2002 for $120k (we also put about 20k into fixing it up)
    Currently at $198k

Bought next house in 2002 for $180k
    Sold in 2013 for $230k
    Currently at $381k

    Bought current house in 2013
    It's gone up about $175k
    Which is staggering.

My parents paid $21,000 for a pond front, 3 BR 1 bath house in 1971.

When both were gone, as executor, I sold it for $300,000 in 2013. The Z estimate just now is $586,000….

Best of luck with whatever you decide upon! With the current interest rate compare to what it was in the ‘80, it still not as bad.
