It's silver and stock. I want to put a lift kit on it sometime soon, but I have some problems like money. I'm new here, so Idk what to look for in a suspension lift. So, if you guys could help me, that would be great. And like wheels, I NEED new wheels other than the stock ones because the stock ones need to go and I just don't know what the numbers mean for the wheel code and like what offset is to, and what size tires I need so if someone could reach out that would be great

I would keep it silver and stock but that's just me.... You could put monster wheels on it and squat the rear end...Hve fun with it.

You don't *need* either of those things.

You do *need* $ to acquire good product and have them installed.

1st things 1st. Make sure all your saftey systems are in great shape. And all of your system maintainence (ALL fluids) is up to date and maintained.

Maybe hang out, study and learn while saving your sheckles. Once you learn enough to ask specific questions re wheels and suspension, certainly do so.

Side note. If this is a truck that has lived in salt country, read up on how to inspect the frame properly. Many have shown up here with a hot deal they are itching to modify only to find the truck is on the verge of collapse.

Side note #2. The best value in wheels will be used. Take offs from a 3rd gen can spiff up your ride for a modest price, and fit just fine. So start looking and taking notes about which models you like.

Take a break. Use the money you have on maintenance, changing fluids and any repairs it needs. Even though they may look cool, you don't need custom wheels and lift kit. You can always get them later. You want to buy something? How about a tank of gas? That usually takes care of any extra cash I have lying around.

    Yup, another fly-by posting.

I think you’re looking at large, bare tractor inner tubes for flotation.

If money is an issue forget about lifting. You could get a cheap spacer/block lift but it will be money down the drain... you'll end up regretting it and the ride/handling will be crap. Use your money now to keep it running good now and into the future... use a good rust inhibitor underneth.

I would suggest leave it stock until you can answer the question: "Why can't I live with this truck in it's current config?"... (ie: Stock)

Your truck only gets to be Stock once... It's a Gen2 second year truck that was d near perfect from the start and reached the epitome in 2015. IMO: You already own a recognized icon/gold standard Tacoma. I wish it was in my garage. (how many miles on it? ;)) and there is no going back once you start to upgrade: too much $$$ to go back. Keep it stock until you don't have $$$ issues and then plan your next move. If that is achieved, consider selling it stock and go to work on getting a 3rd gen and go nuts with the windfall.

That said: "Welcome to TacomaWorld" :proposetoast: Listen to the "Ancient Ones" in here and have fun. Post Pics: We like pics.
