Great advice / attitude, I’m learning go with it as well, not much you can do about anyway. I call it “lowering my expectations “

Got some more work done on the boat. It’s been a while since I’ve had any desire to do anything. The wood plug in the cabin top has been epoxied in place with thickened epoxy. I also ground out the second hole where the mast pile drove the lifeline stanchion through the deck. That’ll be another 8x4 hole to plug. I’ll back that one up with 1/2” plywood from the underside and laminate the fiberglass over it. If I am able to keep finding energy, I may have to buttoned up before winter so I can get the boat out of the garage before the snow flies. This way the new-to-me Mercedes (mom’s old car), can be out of the weather.

That sounds familiar with my VA Pharmacy in Nashville . They only give me a 200 count of my Parkinson's carbidopa Levodopa meds . Sometimes the Pharmacy questions me about how short a time period that the meds are needing to be reordered

I don’t like the fact I can only get 30 day refills, I’m down to a week’s worth before they’ll let me refill, for 30 days :annoyed:

    Good afternoon everyone.

I had sent this post on my phone, I always seem to do something out of sequence then the post comes out all gibberished up, even after clicking back to edit it.
Hmm, Rugbys pic- I got the text this morning that Mr Orange has mastered the art of pulling down dish towels that are ( were ???) secured with clothes pins to the handle on the oven door. Sir Ruggers looks quiet smug with his accomplishment!

My parents do mail order Rx for most things. Dad’s on BP meds. They usually will send 90 days at a time but they changed their policy with no warning and sent 30 day instead. Then there was a month with 31 days and a fed holiday that they were closed on the day that they usually process his refills so the order got delayed. Mom had to call and raise hell because dad was going to run out- at this point it was like 5 days later than usual and only had like a 7 day extra on hand. Can’t mess with the BP meds! So they had to rush ship overnight the refill.
I thought of you first when I saw it.

So received in the mail today, not 1, but 2 databreach notifications from 2 separate medical institutions. Just adding to the pile of data breach I’ve had. I was part of the US Government’s data breach many years ago, my PII has been on the dark web for years :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good evening everyone

Got called into work 4 hours early the past two days. It’s been a while since I’ve worked 16 hour shifts. I’m ok with it being a little while before the next one.

All the best to you and your wife Mark. I hope you both are feeling better soon.

    Hello Theo. Cute picture.

    Nice progress Paul.

Gotta like that.... my daily chemo med is $67200 a month then an infusion every 8 weeks at another $80000. Cancer Meds are expensive.

Edit: not month every 28 days....

Refills from VA, 30 day supply via UPS appx every 25 days. yeah Fed holidays and weekends screw that up.

Good Morning is closer I reckon Scott :hattip:
You work 12s? What rotation? Just curious...16 hrs makes for a long day, particularly in an industrial environment. o_O
