As long as the bed walls are reinforced, I doubt it matters.

20240910_131417.jpg Just had the seats recovered. Added 1/2 of foam to the bottom of the front seats. We'll worth it.Katzkin.

I was wondering if there were other seat options. Is it more comfortable with the foam?

Definitely better with the extra foam....from katzkin there's lots of options. Colors, patterns, logos in the head rest....just about anything you can imagine...within reason obviously

Spent 15 minutes fishing out my house keys from between my seat and the center console. I’ve got the whatever-they’re-called strips on my shopping list but I keep blowing it off. I’ve got a two piece key ring to keep all the keys except Taco ignition from dangling from the ignition switch. I was at the grocery store so at least I could lock up and do it at home if I needed to. Must have looked funny with my backside sticking out and cussing. Found out the easiest way is just push them down all the way and get them from the back seat. I keep my back seats folded down so it’s a whole thing.

Maybe you are looking for "seat gap fillers". I haven't had to dig under the seat for my keys or phone since I put them in. Just get some basic ones; some fancy ones have storage pockets but that won't work with the e-brake handle. I suppose you could also use a pool noodle but that would be tacky.

Well, the dog barfed in the backseat big time, twice, so I cleaned that out today. :annoyed: No pics. :puke:

Looks great. I will be going 35s this year, just waiting for my tires to wear out. Did you do the fender trimming?

Honestly I only saw a slight drop. I averaged about 16 mpg over the last trip through Idaho with decent climbs and flat travel as well. I think I was getting 17/18 prior to installing the camper.

    There definitely was and is.
I wiped the rough country seat covers down and rinsed out the rear husky liner. Windows were left open as I'm too lazy to unclip and pull out the covers for the washing machine. We'll see how long I can tolerate it as it's supposed to get back up to 100 in AZ soon. :burp:

I've used the black on an F150 when towing my 34' camper. Dirt bike in bed and 650lb tongue weight. I like the blue for the Taco when the height and contact looks like the picture posted earlier. I might have gotten the "builder set" Sumo Springs if the blue ones weren't so doggone inexpensive...

IMHO, the black will work well if the constant load dictates the version with a higher weight rating. I'm running a topper on my Gen 3 with a bunch of recovery gear and dirt bike stuff in the back of mine and think the blue should do the job perfectly....

That I did. Put that C4 kit on August of 23, ha. I've been prepping for 35's for a while now. CMR, beat the pinch weld back, -12 offset on the wheels, aftermarket UCA's, and a lil bit of trimming. Getting an alignment today to see if its all going to fit just right or if I have to put some spacers on as I wait for a different set of UCA's.

I installed the no drill hood struts and they work very well, took all of 15 minutes.
