While drying the taco after a carwash I noticed significant sun fading on my grill badge. Has someone else experienced this event and did you do anything to make it go away?

^I upgraded to the 2020+ TRD grille because it's better looking... Plenty of takeoffs from people changing to the Pro grille.

I suppose you can try wet sand, polish, wax, etc., but I don't think it's worth the effort.

I got a sticker and some cool valve stem caps...
I 2nd getting rid of the cheese grater and buying a 2020+ take off. Will look 1000x better

P.S... that also makes it the perfect time for a light bar

No, I don’t have that grill installed anymore but I noticed my headlights started doing that this spring. Should be easy to find another for very little money. Lots of people have those and various other 3rd gen grills in their garage rafters/attic

I’d think you could just buy a new emblem. Personally never been a fan of overlays.

I came looking for a solution to this same problem on my 2020. Looks like you can buy the emblem (p/n 90975-A2014) but it's $305 MSRP! Has anyone successfully restored theirs?

I used to use Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish on my 2001's yellowing headlights, with great results. I'm no plastics expert but this flaking badge looks and feels a bit different than yellowing headlights, perhaps calling for a different approach. Thoughts?

Can't really tell from the pics, but it looks more like cracking.
Does it affect the RADAR any?
