Was at Thompson Drag Raceway over the weekend and had to post this old Dodge A100 van. The guy who restored this did it for his teenage son who is severely handicapped and loves cars and Van Halen. They travel all over the East Coast attending events like this in a specially made camper to accommodate his son while showing the van. The interior has a mock up of one of Eddies guitars and guitar amps made into cabinets and functional as well with speakers. Really cool dad for doing this.
The 55-56 Ford Customline is becoming one of my favorite Gassers in this region if he can ever get the blown 429 dialed in.

Going through one of the tubs today and it’s full of mostly duplicates of cars I already have. Find this matchbox Baja and think it’s just like the 20 others I found. That was until I put it on that pile of others and I can see it’s different. Wait! That’s one I don’t have on the shelf.

 

Rather not have all yellow together but some of these look the same when they’re apart.

 

Also found this Ray Fink Studebaker. To bad the back of the card has a little mold on it. This is from one of the tubs they were putting all the cars in they were finding in the basement when they were cleaning it out. Not a good place to keep them if there’s moisture.

No not yet. Been busy the past few weeks. Had company staying in that room a few weekends so I can’t do anything in there. Finding I bought a lot of doubles myself. Hoping to get back at it this weekend. Want to start hanging some of the cards I don’t want to open.

More cars residing in the garage. The 1/43 Studebaker Hawk is set aside for a Gasser project.The others are just out there. All are nice but not nice enough to go upstairs.
