Does anyone make a very good set of mats for our trucks today like the weathertech or husky liners that form very well? I have an extra can and would love to have something for the back area also.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

I would look to see if Husky makes a set. I purchased the Weathertech when there was a group buy. I don't really like how the front ones fit, Especially around the gas pedal. I'll eventually dump these and get something else.

I've had the brown huskies for 15 years and they've been great. I actually bought them off of someone on the forum back then. The back ones work pretty well too, but sometimes the front of them gets in the way if you put things under the seats.

I had the Husky's in my 2003 double cab. The only thing I didn't like about them was that I seemed to catch my foot getting in and it made the liner at the door sill curl a little bit up, causing it to catch more. The coverage and fitment on front and rear was great otherwise. At the time, Weathertech did not make anything for the 1st gen (or at least the double cab)

I personally love the weathertechs in the front. Seems to be disliked by others on this forum though. I use the husky's in the rear though since I couldnt find anyone else that made them for xtra cab rear.

For my 2000 reg cab the only thing I found that actually fits are the Husky. 6 years with them and they are like new. I use WT in all of my other cars but they didn't have a "perfect fit" for my truck. Husky does.

    Mine:

Husky Liners Classic Style Series | 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab/Standard Cab | Front Floor Liners, Black | 35111 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CMJQ1K

In PNW, great for rain snow and mud, money well spent.

Forget which major brand it is, but they only list 01-04 which work for the other 1st gens but not listed for some reason. (will not be right if you have added bulk to your carpet though)
