    I have a couple of install tips for those with 2-color option.
    (These are from MY experience and are not necessarily authorized or to be an acceptance of liability)

    1. Add increased clearance for wiring inside the shift knob (near the 90 degree bend inside the shifter)
    2. Tie fishing line to wire-end of LED lead and CAREFULLY pull leads down through shifter.
    3. Order wire taps for fine-gauge wire (20-24)

    4. Buy frosted scotch tape to serve as lens for LED. (Apply vertically and horizontally)

    5. Loom/tie wrap/secure leads from signal sources.

    6. Make sure you have plenty of smaller gauge wire (color coded is better)

    7. Keep wiring from shifter knob relatively short (2-3”) so you don’t have to feed too much through the shifter boot)

    8. On factory switches with 4 leads, center two wires (BOTH ARE REQUIRED FOR DIMMING, one is 12v, the other is variable ground) are for factory illumination, outer wires are for function of the switch.

    9. If, (while testing) your leads touch (short) and blow the fuse for the illuminated switches, this is the fuse…

    10. Disassembly of the shift knob requires loosening of two tabs near the lower rear cover ( two small flat blade screwdrivers worked best for me)
