It could be brought back to life. Could be a track day dedicated bike?

Stopped for the night with 220 miles due to rain and horrible visibility. Couldn't keep my glasses or face shield clean enough to see as it got dark. Lights from oncoming traffic made it rough.

That would be the perfect candidate. Few months of TLC would give you something to do, a new bike you know inside and out, and enough $ left over to not feel bad about go fast parts

I am so tired of sellers. Why would you list something for sale then not respond or be available to show? I just don’t get it. I have found a couple what I think are decent deals. One I have been trying to contact for three weeks now. And another who is just too busy to show. WTF are these people doing? I would go out of my way to sell what I have listed. I just don’t understand. For that reason I am out. (Shark tank expression) screw these people. It’s not like I am low balling just trying to come look.
    RANT OVER!!
BTW I know I said I wasn’t going to buy but if I find a good deal I will if it’s what I want.

That's why I didn't list my CB500X. I was way to busy to entertain any inquiries or to show it. Still somehow managed to sell it.

Well shit… maybe that’s what I need to do with the FZ1. I will put on my listing that it’s for sale but I don’t have time to sell it. Lol

I didn't list it, though. I sold it at a solid discount to help a good guy out on his first bike. It just kinda happened through PMs over on the Tundras.com site.

Almost the end of riding season for the next six months. I might get one or two more days where the sun is out and it's above 40* and then I have to go out of town for work for about a month. By the time I get back it will be below zero everyday.

Similar boat here. It's too cold in the early mornings when I get off work to ride home or I'd likely bring the bike to work. Then I sleep during the day. I think my season is over.

    True!!
So here are two bikes I have been watching. Prices have dropped by a few grand over the last couple months. The Honda I can get for 9k and the GSXR was originally listed for $12,500 but now 10k.
The Honda has a flash tune (2WDW) pipe and a couple other things. Very reliable and a good looking bike IMO. He paid $14,500 OTD new and put another $1000 in mods. So a good value. Honda hasn’t made any changes to the cbr600rr since 2013 BUT it’s a raw motorcycle without rider aids. No ABS, traction control, modes ect. It does have a fuel gauge!! Anyway my preferred type of bike just because there are less things to fail.
Next is the GSXR 750. Race colors , low miles, almost new. Has slip on and I think that’s it. New these bikes are $12,999 and with tax, title ,license, fees ect you will be over close to $15,500 OTD so a pretty big savings over new. I have an aftermarket seat and braided brake lines for this bike from the other GSXR.
I am sure I will procrastinate too long and they will finally sell but it’s fun to watch the price drop.

Just got home from a 100 mile ride on the Klx. Did a ride on the mountain loop hwy. There is about a 20 mile dirt road portion.
