So I was working at someones house when the lawn guy came by. Heard it happen, but didnt put together that something was violently thrown into my truck.

Ive corrected scratches (even deep ones) with compound and sometimes even with just a solvent to spread the paint around. The pictures dont really show the extent. My biggest worries are where the paint is chipped. Im not sure I can work the paint to fill and cover it? And honestly Im not impressed with the paint as it seems pretty thin already.

Would buying a paint pen be my best bet? I doubt Ill get the slight dent out, but would really like to correct the paint well, so its not noticeable. Truck isnt perfect, but this shit kills me.

Pictures aren't working. If it won't buff out you'll need to repaint. Paint pens/touch up paint never turns out right.

Dealer put a 2" deep scratch in my drivers door. They had to re-shoot the door.

Oh, without seeing pics, the lawn guy should be paying if he did the damage.

That looks to be down to the primer in several spots. Re-spray.

I would file that under “It’s a truck” and get some touch up paint. Some fucker dinged my door last week and I just sigh and remind myself its a truck. It helps…

Good eye. It 100% is dented, but i can live and probably accept it if the paint gets fixed.

I know, but man I mean its not even something I DID. Which frustrates me more.

Im definitely thinking about it. I just hate to claim that, but I get a feeling that little mark will be a costly repair out of pocket.

It can be done with the factory touch up paint. It will require several steps.
