Cheapest way is to do it yourself.

To make it affective you’ll need to program the key to the Transponder ECU.
You didn’t tell us what year your truck is, there are different key types.
You’ll need to find out what key type your truck uses, then program it.

My guess is- Some who shouldn’t have a key, has a key.

Ex- wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend can do all assorts of things with the right key.

How about bringing the locks to a locksmith and asking to change one cut in the key and to replace with the appropriate wafers in the cylinders. Effective in changing the locks without having to get a new key.

That’s what I did on a car I ended up with that was previously owned by a tweaker. Then you can go 1 step further and reprogram the vehicle so that only your immobilizer keys work.

If you have a base model, it's stupid easy to do. No programming or anything...3 minutes for each door lock, and 10 minutes for ignition cylinder. $99 bucks and done.

If you know an unauthorized person has a key to your vehicle that's one thing, but if you had a theft and you want to increase the security of your vehicle because you believe they may have used a key then you may want to reconsider, car locks aren't that hard to pick, and there's many ways into a vehicle ranging from a simple slim jim to a straight up remote code duplication via sniffed signal.

Meaning changing the locks may do nothing other than drain your wallet and time.

2010 Tacoma 4x4 Extended cab. Apologize for not adding this details before hand. I had bought the truck with one key, wanted to make sure whoever have another key can get into my vehicle.
