Thanks to everyone in the thread. I took my air dam off the minute I got the truck home. I noticed the noise but put it off to being tire noise or a rear end whine. Local dealer was running a sale. I bought the plugs, few minutes under the truck and noise is gone. Very Nice! Again, thanks to all!

Tried starting “a conversation” with Btcomcast to see if I could get him to answer the many requests on this thread about more info on how he cut his air dam………to many restrictions……I guess he’s shy…….

somebody posted info about getting a crossmember from RCI…..@$50. So you can attach a plastic skid plate to replace the felt one that’s not going to last very long…….

I’ve reread the 7 pages of this thread with no luck in finding it……can someone please help out…..

    thanks

    Far to much money spent.
I used a pair of large shears to trim it down nothing fancy :) I wanted to keep a 4 inch section to cover the 2 spaces on the front felt skid plate.

Therre supposed to come from the factory with the installed plugs in the lower control arm, but a lot of them did not have these plugs in place. chances are yours got the 4 plugs on each lower arm.

s not that thick of plastic, i used the end of the vent holes on each end taped and cut straight across, I only did this like I was saying due to the stupid felt liner holes otherwise right in the f-ing trash and just replaced the screws in the holes and tucked the felt wheel liner into the bumper cover.

You trimmed while the air dam was attached, OR you removed it and then started to trim?

Just picked up my iforce max Hybrid Off Road last week and it came with the air dam mouthguard thing. Obviously it had to go, but created that terrible howl/whistle.

Thanks for the fix, this forum is awesome.

I couldn't find the plugs in stock. So, I used black duck tape a month ago or so. I checked it out yesterday and it's still holding up just fine. No noise.

I just wanted to thank everyone here in helping with this. I just removed my air dam this weekend and was wondering where the noise was coming from. I looked underneath the truck and I do not have the plugs. I will order something to cover up those holes today. Thanks again!
