    front brake line bracket bolt is missing - dangling bracket must have cause line a line leak. Is this a $$$dealer$$$ issue? Like how much trouble am I in $$$$?
    1st picture shows opposite side with bolt and no leak 2nd and 3rd pictures show my trouble. Any legitimate advice is appreciated.

    Looks like a very simple fix. You need a new bolt, and a new section of hardline. The fittings could be reused so if you have a fresh section of line and a flare tool this would take like a half hour to fix. I can't see this costing much at an independent place if you aren't going to do the work yourself.

    oh and that caliper will need a bleed afterward. also simple, just will need a helper and a fresh bottle of fluid if you're doing it yourself.

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

    Any competent independent shop should be able to fix that for you no problem.
    If they seem confused or quote some astronomical amount find a different shop.

    $24 dollars plus whatever I’ll spend on brake kleen and brake fluid if needed. Thanks for the help and advice. Hopefully this thread can help someone else down the road!IMG_8499.jpg IMG_8500.jpg

    All right! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Think the job out, take your time, keep everything clean (dirt is the enemy of a hydraulic system) and you should be fine.
