Hey everyone. I just got my first Tacoma, a deer totaled my 2011 4Runner a couple weeks back so here I am getting another Toyota lol. I got a good deal on a 2015 Tacoma with only 70k miles, I was wondering if people had suggestions for updates/accessories/mods they would suggest and maybe brands to look at? I’ve already a few small things like seat covers, cargo net organizer for the bed, and ceiling rack with MOLLE holes.

    Thanks!!

Welcome to TW and welcome to Taco ownership.
There are a zillion possible mods. Need a little more info. to make thoughtful suggestions. Tell us about the truck, 2wd or 4wd. Double cab etc? Use it off road, go camping or just highway . Looking for mods to make it look “cool” or mods for comfort or useful mods for off roading or towing or whatever. What do you think you want to do to your truck?

It’s a double cab with 4wd, it came with a bed liner and roll up cover. It’s going to be my daily driver for now. I’m getting some stuff for organization and ease of keeping it clean. My wife and I do like to go camping and biking, I’ve got a good bike rack already. Thought about a roof rack sort of setup too. It’d be neat to have kind of a dual setup that works well for camping and outdoors, but looks “cool” when hanging around in town. And I do love my music….

Depending on what’s on your truck now I’d consider a set of new wheels and some nice all terrain tires. Looks good and the tires will take you where ever you want to go.
You might consider a camper shell. They look good and are quite functional.
I put a bull bar on mine and mounted some off road lights. Looks good and functional.
Might consider an upgraded sound system but for me the original is just fine. I like music and the one in the truck sounds good to me. But to each his own.
Our trucks are pretty nice the way they are so for me mods are few.
I will say stay away from things like lifts. Depending on the type of lift and who installs it they can be more problem that they are worth.

It’s got a great set of wheels and tires on it already, thankfully. Do you have recommended brands or types of bull bar? I got new LED lights to change the interior lights as well.

Very nice wheels and tires. My bull bar is Westin. I’m also planning shortly on mounting an off road light bar on top of the bull bar.
