Upgrades you DON'T regret

Aside from the cost, all the modifications have been nice to have.

Problem now is I bolted on so much stuff that im squatting a bit in the rear and need some Deaver stage 3 springs I think... then may as well do the Tires, thinking some AT4W skinnies... then maybe... fml

I don't have a ton of money to spend on my truck so, all my choices have been carefully made with no regrets so far.
However, I will say the KDMax tune and Leer camper shell have been the best for everyday utility.

Rear seat delete may be coming soon and that's a pretty big commitment ... not so sure yet. Maybe I should read your "most regretted" first?

 

I don't have a ton of mods but the top 3 would be Diode Dynamics SS3 max fog lights, Pedal Commander and seat jackers.

Nice! I highly suggest the Crossbin 8. It allows long items to slip under it.

 

OEM Auto-dim rear view mirror w/compass and outside temp display, OEM Bed Mat, Cargo Net with bed-rail hooks. WeatherTech floor liners, OEM TRD Pro Grille insert, OEM TRD Pro Shift Knob, tailgate anti-theft clamps.

 

RCI high(er) clearance rear bumper. So much tail dragging avoided over the years.

 

I see a lot of posts about folks getting hood struts. I never had a vehicle with a hood that weighs as much as my Taco. My skinny short ass don’t like this heavy hood. I’ve seen Redline and Strikers brands being posted. Are they worth the money and trouble, do they last or is it a gimmick. Is there a brand that is the best ?

 

JESUS CHRIST! Ain't that the truth? Same with the one in the center console. Probably best bang for the buck EVER.
Aside from that, the Dash Cam would be next. Only because I upgraded to one that has 2 channels and Sony Starvis-2 Chip and it cost twice as much as the last one. But worth it.

 

I don’t about those brands of hood struts. I got different brand of hood struts from KTJO 4x4, installed in my Tacoma last year. Still working, I don’t have link to their website, or don’t know what brand of hood struts. But it seems to be good quality, and design.

 

We should post a warning like they do on the bottom of the gambling commercials. Instead of asking “Gambling Problem?” and posting a number ours says “Modding Addiction?”

For me the best thing I've added to my Tacoma so far is the keyless entry/remote start kit from N2 Designs. Being I have the SR, it doesn't have a keyhole on the passenger side. That got old really fast, so it really helps a lot. I'm starting to use the remote start feature a lot more lately too. Its nice to start it up after work on hot days with the A/C running to cool it off, & vice versa with the heater in the winter time....
