    Hey everyone -
I have a TRD short shifter and recently had Coupe work his magic on the middle bushing. Since I couldn't be without my truck for a period of time, I found a used shifter that I had him do the bushing bit on. He does amazing work and the thing is rock solid now.
Today, I swapped out my old shifter with this new one. There is a huge difference now and there is no slop at all and very "notchy" feeling when shifting. It's been a while since I put the original shifter in, but I feel like it's shifting like new again.
However, I'm still getting a rattle from the shifter area when changing gears. It's obviously not the middle bushing at this point. With my old shifter, I had this issue, too, but it was a lot worse and it happened while in certain gears. Now, I'm hearing just a rattle when shifting. I swapped out the lever bushing at the bottom of the shifter and put a new on one when swapping in the new shifter. I feel like the rattling might be coming from that area? Anyone know if the lever bushing that I swapped might need some time to "break in" and might be the cause of that rattle? Any other ideas as to what it might be?
