Hi all, looking for advice. My passenger side seatbelt light is on, and the airbag light is on as well. I’ve tried unplugging the yellow harness under the seats but it didn’t fix anything.

Has anybody else encountered this that can help? I’m trying to exhaust all options before taking it to a mechanic.

First thing is to pull the codes from the SRS and Occupant Classification ECUs and see what you have going on.

I ended up in the Toyota dealer. It was $196 for diagnostic + fix, the seat weight detector needed recalibrated.
