    Looking to go off-roading today near Boulder on the Switzerland North trial. If anyone is interested let me know. Looking to wheel with similarly or more built rigs than mine (I’ve got a winch, 33’s, 3 ½” lift, 5.29 re-gear, front and rear bumpers, and sliders).IMG_3294.jpg IMG_0380.jpg

    You can take my Nissan Leaf on Switzerland Trail. I recommend taking your built truck up Pennsylvania Gulch for some fun.

    or up at Ironclads. https://maps.app.goo.gl/j8HXM3QCfrYSEML19?g_st=ic

    ironclads is a fork off T33 and there is dispersed camping around there. Otherwise there is Peaceful Valley Campground or Camp Dick

    Remember when people used to post up wheeling trips in here? Probably time to bring that back.

    Holy Cross - this Friday.

    Meet at the sign near the start of Homestake road at 9am.

    33s, 1 locker, full armor minimum - but even then you'll be challenged. Double locked and 35s preferable.

    @Squeaky Penguin
    @Tacofire98

    I'd say 4 or 5 trucks max.

    Side note - I'll be spending some time at Cleveland lake before heading back down. :spy:

    Go for a ride?

    Broc says he wants to join me this year for some leaf peepin’ on a lap through Aspen, Crested Butte, and Marble that I travelled last year.

    A "Life's short, ditch work" excursion will be held Friday 9/27. Meet at Pine Junction County Store and Gas Station (285 and Pine Valley Road) at 8:00 am.

    We'll head west on Hwy 285 over Kenosha Pass, to CR 5 then CR22 over Weston Pass, to Hwy 82 past Twin Lakes and over Independence Pass into Aspen, south on Castle Creek Road to Pearl Pass, and should arrive at one of the many Brush Creek campsites east of Crested Butte around 5:00 pm.

    On Saturday 9/28, break down camp and shoot for an 8:00 am departure to head into Crested Butte for breakfast. I will likely hit Rumors Coffee and Tea House for a breakfast burrito to go, one of a few breakfast possibilities. We'll head over Paradise Divide west side over Yule Pass, then Schofield Pass/Devils Punchbowl, on to Crystal Mill, then to Marble and stop by Slow Groovin BBQ to pick up some ribs. Then north on Hwy 133 to intercept Hwy 82 at Carbondale, then up to Glenwood Springs and I70 back home arriving around 6:00 pm.

    Anyone interested?

    Many and always modding Wheels Suspension lift Armor Electrical gadgets etc...

    That sounds amazing! I’ll check with “the boss” and see if slipping away for a couple days is doable.
