Anyone paint their grey OR honeycomb grill black?

    Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
    Not yet, but I'm planning to do exactly that.

    I used Plasti Dip. It's held up surprisingly well. You can see slight peeling where a buffer got a little to close but it's an easy enough fix.

    I found a few threads on doing it and I think I’ll be going the paint route, prepping with a thorough cleaning, then some paint adhesion promoter and then using satin black rustoleum 2X.

    Painted grills require ongoing paint touch ups. Just spend the $150 to buy an aftermarket replacement black grill. Trust me, you will not regret it.
