I guess I forgot to update this thread with the new configuration. After running my original setup (mounted to the passenger kick panel/cowl) I finally got tired of it. Every time I had to take off the kick panel I had to undo all the wires going to my fuse box and that was painful. Also sometimes my wife managed to take the lid off the fuse box when she had her purse sitting by her feet. I eventually realized that this is not going to work in the long run. The other location that I could think of was under the passenger seat. After some search I came across a product from Desert Does It that seemed perfect for my application: https://desertdoesit.com/collection...unt-2005-2021-toyota-tacoma-2003-2021-4runner

This under the seat mounting bracket is meant for an ARB compressor but after drilling a few holes of my own, I was able to adapt it for my fuse panel. Here is the result:

I routed the positive wire from the battery underneath the truck following the frame and up through a grommet that came up right under the front passenger seat. The negative terminal was attached to a ground bolt inside the seat tunnel. So far I am very happy with this setup and I continue to wire all my new accessories to this location.
