    My wife's "Uncle Wimpy" used to climb an exterior ladder to reach the cab of his crane on the docks at San Pedro Harbor when he was still in his 70"s. Great guy, passed just this last May.
    Many of my wife's family are Longshoremen. Man, those guys know how to eat and drink! First time I met my wife's Longshoremen side of the family was at a retirement party at the Longshoremen's Hall in San Pedro. Drinks were 25cents each. You can guess what the result was....I hung in there with her Uncles so I made the cut after that.

    I don’t drive it much since I got my Subaru Forester almost 2 years ago. I usually drive my Subaru up to the property and even use it for hunting unless I actually need my truck.

    I drive a Miata.
    Well shit. We packed up in the rain, and instead of taking the tail of the dragon (done it once) I elected to drive the gorgeous Cherohala skyway. Visibility: about equal with the fog lights. Weather followed us.


    But now we're in this campsite, enjoying the rain, and realizing that we just relocated to dead center of the cone of uncertainty. :facepalm:



    I figgure the tree cover will knock the wind down from it's predicted 50 to 30 or so. :anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:



    Or meybbe we pull stakes and move west in the mernin. :confused:
