I know they’ve had the rear recovery points out for a while, but thoughts on the front recovery points they’ve released recently?

The website states each point has a WLL of 9,000lbs. This area of connection always seems to bring mixed emotion from the group. They appear to be better designed than those crappy demon brackets but would you guys trust those for any recoveries on the trail?

I personally decided against them based on the sketchy mounting location. Ended up going with ARB since that is properly mounted...

    They look nice though

I’m not exactly in the market for a front recovery point, but if I was I think ARB is the obvious choice(and cheaper) or I would just wait until I decide to upgrade the front bumper.

They do look nice… do you think that’s all it boils down to for options like these that seem to pop up and people gravitate towards? As in, looks good and could feasibly work in mild situations?

Yeah I considered steel bumpers for a long time but don't like the idea of extra weight slowing me down :ballchain:, or getting a bent frame in a simple accident, for 3-4x the cost

The NYTOP ones are definitely an upgrade over factory and also better than demon brackets, but yes would only ever trust them for a mild recovery in a straight line while pulling from both using a bridle. I'd imagine anyone who picks up a set likes how they look and isn't planning for any serious unsticking
