Just picked up the truck a week ago and love it. This is my 5th Toyota truck, 2nd Taco, starting clear back in the late 70's. I had a 2000 and a 2015 Tundra and this new Taco drives more like my last Tundra than the Gen-2 Tacoma I just sold. Also, I think it's the best looking truck out there.
The only thing I hate about the truck is the radio. I've bitched about Toyota radios for decades but this one is by far the worst; absolutely horrible but if that's the worst this truck has to offer; no real complaints.

Interestingly, this new Tacoma is larger than the Gen-1 Tundra in every measurement except length. HP, WB, width, height are all greater in this new Tacoma. I believe this is about the perfect sized truck for those not needing anything full-sized.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.

Welcome to TW. To me, the 4th Gen Tacoma is probably the least appealing Tacoma to date. I don't like anything about it, seems to be made cheaper, weaker, and I definitely don't like the looks of it. I feel like Toyota has gotten greedy over the past few years. I'm not sure if I'll ever own one unless it can be proven as tough as the previous generations. I can't justify spending $50k+ on a midsize truck that isn't proven.

But I'm glad you're part of the forum and glad you like your truck.

You’ll forget all about that when your passengers head is pinned against tha back glass. Go 4!

Nah, I don't buy pick up trucks for speed.

Good luck in the swamp; I know exactly what that’s like.

Welcome, and I love the Silver. Kinda makes me regret getting the ice cap.
