He was 100% doing a dab outside the weed store in his car like an idiot. Probably fumbled it and it blew up. Crazy he is still alive. Dont do dabs in your car guys

 

Always shut the gas off at the tank first, do not rely on your burners valve for long idle periods; Most are short turn knobs that make them very easily to open partway, as opposed to setups where you need to turn the knob completely a few times before the valve starts its opening turn.
If you have kids, get a valve keeper to prevent them from turning the knob when you aren't looking.

 

Dang that is one hell of an explosion! I wonder what injuries that guy had after all of that...

The likely "cause" was an open or leaking valve. The Tank it's self is highly unlikely to explode. Just not enough oxygen to "get 'er done".

But, even if the cause is mis-identified, the results speak for themselves!
