    Hey TW.
Was considering new coils for the ‘00 2.4 5lug.

Knowing that the v6 coils can be swapped in for more lift, this is what where I’m at:
    MOOG part#
    81072 is 4banger stock coil
    81070 is the v6 coils
    81078 caught my eye.

What do you guys make of it? I am thinking it will work the same as the v6 coil and provide slightly more lift? I have seen it recommended once, when I searched 81078.

But I am worried it about the inner diameter and free height. Will it fit around the shock?
    3.13” vs 3.31” doesn’t seem like a huge difference.
Will the shorter free height of the spring cause any issues? Thinking it may unseat at full drop?

The coil sits in a bucket that aligns it. Idk how much clearance you have to work with before a coil is tk narrow to fit in. How ever in my sticky there are part numbers for v6 coils

Hey zztaco, did you get the 81078's. Did they fit and work? I'm doing this same swap on a 1998 2wd. Let me know if you are still in here. I can see it's been awhile.
