I used this exact setup on my 2019 Tacoma and it worked great. You tap the MODE button on the steering wheel twice and it shows the front camera on the screen. Backup cam still works like factory and comes on screen when you put it in reverse, bonus is you can look at it without shifting into reverse by tapping MODE twice then the down arrow button

Installation is pretty easy, I can give you tips. Great deal at $100. Everything is brand new

 

Is this 1 for 2019 and back or 2019.5 thru 2023? I think there was a change at some point.

 

If you look at the Amazon listing, it says '14-19.

After the camera is on, if you press the up arrow for 5 seconds, the camera will stay on until you press the mode button again or shut the ignition off. Such a great addition on the trails, you can see what's on the other side of that breakover.

 

Had this on my ‘18… in my top 3 mods of all time. It’s uses your steering wheel mode button… doesn’t use up a switch spot like the Anytime version. And a steal for $100. G’luck with this sale, @beef ranger!

 

The "changeover" is that the Tacomas started coming with Entune 3.0 Multimedia systems, which the previous camera kits do not work with.
