Air Conditioning Controls Transplant

    Yes I tried searching, no I didn’t find any results.

    Has anyone successfully done a transplant from the basic air conditioning controls (dial with blue and red sides) to the “upgraded” version with the temperature selection and heated seat controls? If so, does it work with just a swap of the trim piece or does it require additional parts and wiring?

    Obviously tracking heated seats controls wouldn’t work without the heated seats.

    Not sure if it’s how @RustyGreen found it, but since the search function on this site is complete dookie, I just use Google or similar and add “3rd gen Tacoma world” to my search. It works much better.
