I do my oil changes every time the light comes on I do a lot of off road and would rather have my engine in top working capacity and not have to worry about it or any of my fluids for that matter and second of course oil color is not and indicator for oil viscosity what I meant was that it holds up better than other brands start to change color and that's a sign use any person that's changes there owners oil can tell just by how it feels between you finger clean oil is smooth and very viscous used oil or bad oil has a little gritty feeling and not Smooth sure I could send it in but why go through that change it often then you don't have to worry about it like I said it's expensive BUT SO WAS YOUR TRUCK

So is it 3500 miles or the oil change light? because the light does not come on at 3500 miles...

Your truck, do what you want, but you are absolutely wasting money on RP. Their marketing got another one (its literally a tacoma)

You know you can reset the light, right? The maintenance light does not read your oil. It's just a reminder, has nothing to do with oil health.

Nice try, but you're not going to lure me into a political discussion.

Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. (winter) OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer).
I use synthetic oil simply because it's a superior oil (any major brand, usually Mobil1 or Castrol) and not because I can extend the change interval to 7,500 or 10,000k. I use it primarily because it's superior to conventional oil. A four quart jug at Wally World is only a few dollars more than the conventional counterpart. ...and I change it every 6 months or 5,000 miles or whenever summer or winter is about to arrive. (six months wins most of the time) YMMV
