Do you know of or have a camera relocation harness?

I have connectors for the 4 and 6 pin camera intercepts so I could potentially do an extension. However, if you're using a non-OEM camera, you likely want 12v rather than 6v which the OEM camera requires and that would add some complexity. I haven't done much with those right now and I can't really get to that with the massive backlog I have right now but assuming I get caught up, maybe bug me again on this topic in a couple of weeks?

I would not wire S2's off the reverse circuit myself, I'd prefer a relay solution. I did at one point have a relay based reverse harness but the coil of 22-24' of 2 conductor wire was a little dumb to ship. My general rule of thumb would be to try to max at 1A of added load before using a relay and play it safe if you're close. I believe each S2 is well over 1A?

Reverse T's go inline at the bulb adapter.

I also have a DIR which sends parking lights to a weatherpack 2 conductor when in reverse for a hitchpod / s1 (and could potentially feed dual S2's) but the same advice regarding a relay applies.

Granted there is some space between my advice and what you can get away with, but that's 100% on you. I believe reverse is fused at 5A and parking lights at 15A but the OEM wire gauge on all this stuff is pretty small, hence my advice.

Thanks for the detailed response! I apologize for my ignorance and if my questions sound real dumb (this stuff makes me feel really dumb). Would I be able to use the BD provided wiring to provide the power and somehow use the reverse lights as an indication to turn it on?

I don’t know what BD provides but if it’s a relay harness to the battery then likely you can use it.
