So about six months ago, I got new tires all around on my 2007 Toyota Tacoma. Since then, I’ve put a roughly 5 to 6000 miles on the new tires. Rear tires have such bad uneven wear that they already need to be replaced, has anyone ever had this issue with their Tacoma before? The wheel bearings are good. Suspension seems to be fine. It looks like the toe is a little bit off, but would it be enough to ruin the tires this much? I posted some photos so hopefully this may help anyone diagnose this for me.

Wow. That total toe number seems HIGH.
Are the leaf spring in the correct spots?
    See if one has shifted?
If the alignment dowel breaks, the axle can move some.

@Bishop84 would be the guy to ask.

Agree with the above, 6000 miles and 6 months is BAD.
Has the truck been lifted? Something in the rear is obviously amiss mechanically.
Was anything done to the truck suspension after the tires were installed?
How did the old tires wear? The same or were they better or did they wear normally?
I know I always get an alignment suspension check with new tires. Did you?
6000 miles and 6 months is BAD.

Was that alignment done when you bought the tires, or was that just recently?

truck ever been in an accident?

I was so focus on the rear tire part, I missed the front left caster. WOW....

Has the truck been hit an "unexpected" curb at some point?

It looks like there is a date of 4/27 at the top of the page, so I guess that is from when the tires were installed…

The top left corner of the alignment sheet says 4/27 and I assume this year. He said it was 6 months ago which checks out wit 04/27/2024...

I was going to check that out this week to see if they got shifted. I’m not sure if there is an adjustment for the rear alignment or not. Was going to check for that as well

They could not adjust the alignment as I live in MI and every thing is too rusty. Truck is all stock from the factory. The old tires wore just as bad.

There is no adjustment for the rear.
The rear is set by the alignment dowels on the rear leaf spring seat of the axle.

I bought the truck from an auction this year and plan to drive it as a beater/daily driver. The truck is great other than what I believe is the alignment. (Def bad on the front). I have driven the truck pretty well, haven’t hit anyone or anything.

old tires wore the same way.

Where the tires bad when you bought it?
If so, you likely bought the truck with an issue.

How long have you owned the truck.
How many miles did you put on it BEFORE the new tires?
What did the tires look like BEFORE replacing them?

I never like the word "auction" when it comes to diagnosing problems.

If those are new tires with 6000 miles, any problem should be evident from several feet away.

I’m gonna say that truck has been wrecked. Those front caster #s aren’t possible with the factory arms and adjustments. With that rear toe # maybe a sheared leaf spring pin or something is bent. It’s an auction truck unfortunately.

This is also what I am thinking...

Sorry OP, but I hope we are incorrect and you find the issue and it is repairable.
