Afternoon all been busy here with clean up and shop stuff these guys said roof will be up today

 

You wouldn't think a hurricane just came through there a few days ago.

 

This is the Mast General Store Annex in Valley Crusis, N.C. right near Boone.

I was in this building in February

 

We got lucky , some friends and family didn’t fare as well. Now we have family up in nc around Nebo and they got hit hard.

It doesn't help that Verizon is experiencing a nationwide outage on their networks today.

 

Honestly lucky they all arent dead

 

I'd heard Verizon was having an issue, but not that it was nationwide.

 

Weird. I have Verizon and was able to make a call earlier today...

 

I had a call little after 8am this morning. I've only got one bar instead of the normal two or three I usually get at home, but I don't have the SOS that some are reporting.

Hey, we’re good. Lost internet and cell service, but that’s it. Part of interstate 26 washed out in Erwin, hospital under water, we had no idea how bad it was until Saturday. I’ve been wondering about @Tiedie! We didn’t get much rain, but hard winds like crazy. Power outages all around, roads washed away, it’s terrible. Seen a post where some store local was selling cases of water for $40, nothing can be done because it’s priced like your buying 40 bottles of water.

 

One more thing I "need".

People already lost 99% of whatever they had, what kind of sub-human low life scummer goes to steal the remaining 1%.

Thanks already had it all turned on. Our problem is that the towers have no power.

 

Good evening crew, today has been a day. We concentrated on getting trees out of the creek and moving them out of the way so they don't get back into the water.
Lost Internet for 5 hours today just got it back and catching up.
