afternoon gang. Putz on the schedule for the afternoon then off to a free dinner while listening to a Medicare presentation. Should be interesting

 

Those chrome reverse wheels tho...Did you also have the static strips?
Speaking of those chrome wheels, I saw a 3rd gen with factory steels like mine, but they were chromed. Very sharp looking.

 

Storm cleanup yesterday. It's a wet mess. Cleaned up the deck first, because I have to look at it every day. Took most of a day, but worth it. Leaves were plastered to the deck.. had to peel them up one at a time. Never seen that before. Generator propane delivered, full tank again. Backup power generator performed perfectly, ran for two+ days non-stop. Peace of mind is priceless. I'll finish cleanup today, weather permitting. Still have to check the roof.. looks ok from the ground, though. We got lucky, compared to some. I'll need to finish today... more storms forming offshore. No rest for the weary.

Good morning all. Finally got to ride the bike to work again. Chance of showers later this afternoon but I was suffering from withdrawal and chose to risk it.

 

Good morning. Here's to a new day of recovery for those affected by the devastation left behind from Helene. I still can't get over the sheer volume of people, homes, and businesses that are just wrecked by that storm. My neighbors in north Florida are still without power. I guess power is out at the farm again, according to my co-op.
I'm thinking about driving up and seeing if there is an underlying cause, but this whole "work thing" gets in the way.

Helene was definitely brutal! Sadly at least 126 lives so far were lost. Here’s hoping the next hurricanes lined up turn into something much less.

Kettlebell day!

Yesterday fishing was tough! Maybe due to a front over the weekend? We did manage to bring home some small bass, some fine bluegills (my favorite!), and one 15” crappie. Fish fry!
