    Step number 9, inflatable boat sinks. Get you a small Boston Whaler. I promise it's the best. I owned one and miss it dearly.

    Yes I spent 2 hours to get both boats titled and registered given that I’ll be using them in water ways where the coastguard and local fish and game patrol I want to be sure that we have all things in order.

    This IS my preferred choice. For the time being I am enjoying this option. My friends growing up had a 13’ Boston whaler with a 35hp. Great little boat.

    Given current life situation I am holding off until we have a few more things settled out.

    Fiddled around with this for a few minutes during lunch. Got the hardware aligned Bimini is good to go with nylon nuts on hardware. Going to scramble to get the chores completed so I can get an hour on the boat this evening.

    With 3 adults/2 kids you might want to consider a larger/safer boat. Be safe out there.
    edit: where are the rod holders? :notsure:

    It’s a 1400lb capacity boat and rated for 5 adults, plus we all wear PFDs when on the boat. I’m not actually concerned for the capacity of the boat.

    They are oar locks. This is actually a capable dinghy or yacht tender if you so desire.

    The Vevor boat cover is working so great I was creating a pool.

    I spent some money on pvc fittings to create a backbone to shed the water instead of pooling it.

    I am looking for a Jon boat trailer now to make things a little easier. This could be on a 8” wheel deck over very easily to make it much more friendly for loading and launching.

    :anonymous::gossip:I bought a bigger motor.

    Took the boat out in a good bit of wind on the bay today. The new engine is so amazing compared to the 6hp. As is everything there is a bit of a learning curve on it some of the levers and latches are not intuitive also make sure your fuel line is pointed in the right direction. :anonymous:

    1.4 hours of run time today. The lower unit on this one has slotted screws instead of hex bolts. Not a fan of slotted bolts so the search starts now for replacement parts.

    Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
    How durable are these inflatables against things like rocks and cypress knees?
