Could just be me or maybe it was too much wire to safely fit behind the glove box and caused a pinch in the harness or a loose pin. Truck did not end up liking it and rejected it…..

Experimental Designs PnP Anytime (Freedom) Locker

BBPond Tuning PnP 2wd Low Range

Both of these seem like well built products and this is not a negative review or criticism of either. More like a criticism of my own doing by connecting them together.

5,900 miles last run of the manual transmission V6 (RIP)

Have been building out the truck love how it drives.

Recently was looking at improvements in driveability 1) We have a few trailers that we park in the back of our property and are hard to back up hill with the manual and especially with the gearing with 35s. Having 2wd Low Range would be a big help and 2) Love driving on the beach and in muddy roads and like the idea of an anytime locker.

This resulted in the idea that I could couple the two wire harnesses together.

Installed a few weeks ago. Only drove a bit around town less than 30 miles all pavement. Activated both several times to test functionality and all worked as described for both products.

On Monday hit a mild speed bump at about 50mph (love the suspension mods) and truck started throwing codes.

Not sure what happened. Checked fuses all good. AC Still working.

Left work and the codes had gone away and on drove home lights and codes back on.

Ran XTool D8 and got a long list of codes.

Decided to pull aftermarket harnesses and put back to stock. Reconnected battery and started and all codes gone. Now will go for test drive and again run XTool D8 diagnostic for codes.

    Will report back.

I have been thinking of getting the anytime rear locker but worried about issues such as you had. Any idea why you got all the codes?

Did you ever figure this out??

These were two things that I was considering getting.

My 93 pathfinder 5spd had this manually (lock right locker & manual hubs).
